Congratulation to the U16 boys who won GOLD at the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships 2023.
DVE/Geelong Marlin team took home the GOLD medal in the Challenger Division at AYC in Perth in January. The team came away undefeated in an amazing display of team work after much hard work preparing for a tough competition. They competed against teams from all over Australia.
Also On the weekend in Geelong the Tri State Tournament was held. We had U12’s boys and U16 girls joining in mixed club teams and we had U14 and U16 boys DVE teams enter.
The U16 boys won Silver after an incredibly nail biting grand final which was decided on by 7 shot penalty shoot out. They showed amazing strength and courage to the end!
